The club also supports the Germiston SPCA with donations of dog & cat food and blankets. The club will also be riding the 947 Cycle Challenge in aid of the SPCA.

Furthermore, Germiston Wheelers, along with the Germiston Rotary Club, organise the annual Carnival City Macsteel National Classic Cycle Race, which takes place on the 4th Sunday of February every year, with proceeds going to numerous charities in the Germiston/Alberton area.

The club organises rides six days a week, departing from a number of areas. There are designated ride coordinators to ensure that the various training distances are catered for and that no rider, however inexperienced, is left behind.
